David and Felicity Stranack

After 41 years in the diocese and 15 years at St Gregory's, David and Felicity are leaving Sudbury to move nearer to their family.  David was one of our retired priests who  took services and  was so supportive  during the illness of previous  Rectors and  in the interregnum.  Felicity was a member of the church choir and  for  8 years was responsible for the Parish Magazine. They were presented with gifts from the congregation as well as card made so well by Graham. The Junior church made a card from them, and Avril's cake was a delight. They will both be missed but we wish them well in their new  home.

Dentaid, the Dental Charity visited Sudbury on 3rd February from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm in, and outside, St. Gregory’s Church. This  free emergency dental care service  was  really well attended by those who were not registerted with any dentist and lived in the area. A successful charitable initiative planned by Jessie between the  Town Council and St Gregorys' church.

St Gregory's Church has always had a wonderful display of flowers. For many years this team of flower  arrangers has been led by Julia Jameson. Julia has now retired and was presented with a token of our appreciation at the  morning service on 8th January.  Thank you so much for your long  service to the church.
